JASSW's Small Business Support Program
As one of 30 partners in the WA State Dept. of Commerce’s Small Business Resiliency Network, the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington (JASSW) provides culturally and linguistically relevant support—at no cost—to entrepreneurs and small business owners who are non-native English speakers. Our services include workshops on tax returns and legislative updates, as well as food business incubation support.

ワシントン州日米協会（JASSW）のフードビジネス・インキュベーション・プログラムでは、シェアキッチンのオープンハウスを開催しています。フードビジネスのスタートを考えている方や、すでに運営されている方は、ぜひこの機会にご見学ください。
フードビジネス・インキュベーション・プログラムとシェアキッチンについて
ワシントン州日米協会（JASSW）は、ワシントン州商務省の助成を受け、フードビジネスを目指す方を支援するプログラムを提供しています。
未経験の方でも安心してスタートできるよう、キッチン運営だけでなく、ビジネス全般の立ち上げをサポートします。
このプログラムの一環として、2023年に二世退役軍人会（NVC）と提携し、二世退役軍人会メモリアルホール（1212 S King St, Seattle, WA 98144）にシェアキッチンを開設しました。フードビジネスを始めたい方が実際に事業をスタートできる設備を提供しています。
シェアキッチン利用のメリット
シェアキッチンは、ワシントン州の営業許可の取得条件を満たしており、キング郡からの許可が下り次第、すぐに営業を開始できます。
シェアキッチンを利用する仲間とアドバイスや情報交換をしたり、共同イベントを開催したりする機会があります。ビジネスを支え合うネットワークが広がります。
高額なレストラン賃貸費用や人件費を抑えながら、テイクアウトやデリバリーの拠点として活用可能です。
プログラム参加企業は、オンラインで簡単にキッチンの利用予約ができます。

Shared Kitchen Open House
The Japan-America Society of the State of Washington (JASSW) is hosting an Open House for its Food Business Incubation Program’s Shared Kitchen. Whether you are considering starting a food business or already operating one, this is a great opportunity to visit our facility.
What is the Food Business Incubation Program?
JASSW, with support from the Washington State Department of Commerce, offers a program designed to help aspiring food business owners. This program not only provides kitchen operations support but also comprehensive guidance on launching and growing a food business—even for those with no prior experience.
About the Shared Kitchen
As part of this program, JASSW partnered with the Nisei Veterans Committee (NVC) in 2023 to establish a shared kitchen at the Nisei Veterans Memorial Hall (1212 S King St, Seattle, WA 98144). This facility allows participants to kickstart their food business in a fully equipped environment.

Our shared kitchen meets Washington State health and business requirements. Once you obtain a permit from King County, you can start operating right away.

By joining our shared kitchen, you can
exchange advice,
share resources, and
co-host events with other members, expanding your professional network and business opportunities.
- Ideal for Takeout and Delivery Operations
Reduce high rental and staffing costs while using the facility as a takeout and delivery hub for your business.
Participants in the Food Business Incubation Program can easily book kitchen usage online.
